Elie Bou-Zeid is a professor of civil and environmental engineering. He specializes in atmospheric science and modeling, with an emphasis on air flow and heat and pollutant transport in cities. Using modeling and observations, he characterizes the physical drivers of adverse environmental conditions in cities, their inequitable distribution, and technologies that can be deployed to improve the sustainability, resilience, equity and livability of urban areas.
