Theme:
Seeking parallels between established fields of applied ethics, political theory and the emerging field of AI Ethics.

Central questions:
Does AI technology raise new and distinct ethical questions as suggested by the emerging field of AI Ethics? Or does AI Ethics merely rehash the same ethical dilemmas that have already been addressed in more established fields?
What lessons, if any, can AI Ethics learn from other schools of practical ethics, such as Bioethics?
To what extent can philosophers and practitioners apply existing frameworks from ethics and political theory to assess AI technology?

Action point:
Assemble a literature list from conversations.
