Nitya Nadgir
Emerging Scholar
Nitya Nadgir graduated from Tufts University with a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics and science, technology, and society. Previously, she studied federal data privacy regulations at Deloitte’s Government & Public Services practice and conducted research at Tufts on the spread of information through the media during the Flint water crisis. She also interned for the U.S. Intelligence Community’s Civil Liberties, Privacy, and Transparency office, where she helped promote transparency between civilians and the Intelligence Community. At CITP, Nitya is interested in researching data privacy and its relationship with surveillance, polarization, and the overall digital ecosystem.
