The story features Nick Feamster as one of the lead editors in a report issued today by the Broadband Internet Technical Advisory Group on the Internet of Things (IoT) Security and Privacy Recommendations. The report “provides guidance on how to build security and privacy protections into the emerging internet of things (IoT)” and Feamster states that it “is aimed at influencing policy bodies — legislative committees, commissions, the Federal Trade Commission, the White House” and hopefully the IoT industry.
