Princeton undergraduates are invited to apply for the CITP 2018 Tech Policy Boot Camp, a three-day fall break trip to Washington, D.C., sponsored by the Center for Information Technology Policy (CITP).
The program will include visits to a wide variety of organizations that participate in the technology policy process, as well as the opportunity to meet alums and talk about how to get involved in the area. Previous year trips included discussions with experts working for the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, the State Department, the Center for Democracy & Technology, the FCC, the FTC, Vox and more.
The group will leave Princeton at noon on Sunday, October 28, 2018 and return late on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. (Please be advised the dates have changed from what was previously advertised.) CITP will cover all expenses. To apply, please provide the following information: your name, year, major, and a one-paragraph mini-essay explaining why you want to participate. Please click here to access the application.
All Princeton undergraduates are welcome to apply, regardless of year or major. We will consider, along with other selection criteria, whether students have been involved with CITP, for example through participation in our certificate program, attendance at our events, or internship work funded by us.
Again, the deadline to submit applications for the fall 2018 trip is October 3rd, and applicants will be notified if they were selected for the trip the following week.
