Sophie Luskin’s research at CITP engages with issues and impacts around generative AI, social and peer media platforms, age verification, and consumer privacy. Much of her work is housed in CITP’s Tech Policy Clinic and the Digital Witness Lab.

With an academic background in international relations, history, and technology studies at UC Davis, her work is conducted across policy, legal, journalistic, and communications spaces. Luskin comes to CITP from the whistleblower law space, where she specialized in public interest tech whistleblowing.
