Pramod Viswanath joined Princeton Univerity in July 2022 as the Forrest G. Hamrick Professor in Engineering. His research interests are in blockchains. He has also worked actively on wireless communications — including co-authoring a textbook, Fundamentals of Wireless Communication, and co-designing Flash-OFDM, the basis of 4G cellular standards. Viswanath is also co-founder of Kaleidoscope, a blockchain startup company.
