Directions from Nassau Inn Hotel to Conference Location

From the Nassau Inn hotel go up to Nassau Street and turn left. Walk down Nassau until you reach Washington and turn right onto Washington. As you walk up Washington you will see the Woodrow Wilson pond across the street on your left. Stay on the opposite side of the street from the pond and continue walking up Washington, past Prospect Street, and then you will see that the sidewalk curves away from the street. Follow the sidewalk around the curve and you will see the building above to your left. This is the Frist Campus Center.

Walk down the stairs, and enter the building. Go to the middle of the building and walk down the stairs to the Frist dining area. Walk straight through the seating area, turning toward your right, and then turn right again to go down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, Rooms A-B will be toward your right.

If traveling by Amtrak, your destination stop should be the Trenton Transit Station or Princeton Junction.

From Trenton, take a NJ Transit train to Princeton Junction, and then you have two options. You can either take a cab to the hotel or workshop location (approximate cost $22) or get on the “Dinky” train (approximate cost $5), which will then take you from Princeton Junction to Princeton’s train station. It is a three-quarters of a mile walk from the Princeton train station to the Nassau Inn.

At Princeton Junction you should be able to get a cab without calling one. If you need to call, here are a few cab companies:

Princeton Taxi – (609) 672-7072
Princeton Junction Taxicab – (609) 799-8633
A Princeton Taxi – (609) 924-7300

NJ transit trains:

If you are arriving/departing from the Newark Airport, you will need to take an AirTrain to the Newark Airport NJ Transit Train Station and buy a ticket to Princeton Junction. The cost is approximately $16.50. The cost of a cab to get to/from campus from Princeton Junction is about $22 (See above). NJ Transit trains run from approximately 4 am to 1 am.

Please make a note of your gate if you are travelling from Princeton Junction back to the Newark airport. You will need to get on the AirTrain from there and it stops at all the gates.

Driving directions and parking:

Please see Princeton’s website for driving directions to Princeton. Parking on campus is limited, but visitors may park in Lot 21 or 23. Please see Princeton’s parking website for more information.

The best airport to fly into is Newark (EWR), as it is easy to get to campus. Philadelphia Airport is also fairly close, but it is more difficult and time-consuming to get to Princeton. From Philadelphia you will need to hire a car service, or take a train from Philadelphia to Trenton. Once in Trenton, follow the directions above to get from the Trenton Transit Center to Princeton Junction and then to the hotel.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Friday, March 11th, and dinner will be provided on Thursday, March 10th. Breakfast will be available at the conference, Frist Multipurpose Room A-B, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The conference begins at 9:30 a.m.

Lunches will be at noon in the room.

There will be a dinner for the workshop participants on Thursday, March 10, 2016, 6 pm at Palmer House , located at 1 Bayard Lane, Princeton, NJ 08542, (609) 258-3715. (Palmer House is within walking distance to the Nassau Inn and campus.) Please RSVP here by Wednesday, March 2, 2016 to let us know if you will be attending the dinner, and provide any dietary restrictions.
