Tech Policy Boot Camp Trip To DC

Every fall break we take a group of Princeton students, both undergraduate and graduate, on an all expenses paid visit to Washington D.C. Visits are made to various organization involved with the technology policy process.

The program includes visits to a variety of organizations that participate in the technology policy process, as well as the opportunity to meet alums and talk about how to get involved in the area. Previous year trips included discussions with experts working for the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, the State Department, the Center for Democracy & Technology, the National Telecommunications & Information Administration (NTIA), the FCC, the FTC, Vox and more.

The 2020 tech policy boot camp will held virtually. The dates and more information will be posted here in late summer/early fall. To apply, you will need to provide the following information: your name, year, major, and a one-paragraph mini-essay explaining why you want to participate.

All Princeton students are welcome to apply, regardless of year or major. We will consider, along with other selection criteria, whether students have been involved with CITP, for example through participation in our certificate program, attendance at our events, or internship work funded by us.

The application process will open on ***  and close at 5 p.m. on ***.  Applicants will be notified if they were selected the following week.
