CITP’s conference on the Security and Privacy of the Internet of Things on Friday, October 21, 2016 was a great success! We had an overwhelming response and we’d like to thank everyone for attending. We would also like to thank all of the wonderful speakers who provided us with such invaluable information. Unfortunately, our live-tweeting of the event was disrupted by the hack on Dyn, which caused websites like Twitter, Netflix, and Reddit to crash. It couldn’t have been more appropriate that our conference was on a day when the security and privacy of the very IoT devices we were talking about were compromised. If you weren’t able to attend the conference the videos are up on CITP’s YouTube channel with links to each panel on our event website.
